The strong participation of our Economics students in University Research Day was capped by one of our students becoming a finalist in each of the two categories of presentations. This is very impressive, as only three finalists were selected for each category and there were a total of 250 presenters.
In the Oral Presentation Award, our economics student
Sean O'Grady was a finalist with his paper
Economic Effects of U.S. Military Veterans on Labor Markets (1945-Present).
In the Poster Presentation Award, our economics student Pierre-Alexandre Le Ber was a finalist with his paper Economists' Statement on Carbon Dividends.
